Hydraulic Cylinder Trouble Removal

Hydraulic cylinder suppliers pay attention to maintenance also. Hydraulic cylinder trouble removal and hydro cylinder trouble shooting is an important part. Hydraulic cylinder malfunction can solve problems happened in it.

The action of hydraulic cylinder is insensitive and in blocks. This phenomenon is distinct from hydraulic cylinder crawling. It won’t start working upon receipt of the signal, it always stop for a while and then action, or now acting; now stopping. The reasons of this problems and trouble removal are as follows:

1. Too much air in cylinder.

    Removal methods:

a.       Air discharged through vent valve.

b.       Check whether the air intakes from the seals or not. If yes, change the seals.

2. Hydraulic pump revolves irregularly. Such as big vibration noisy, pressure fluctuation seriously, meet a block when the pump rotation, seizure slightly.

  Removal methods can as per relevant books.

3. When a hydraulic cylinder with cushioning device back-to-back starting, the orifice of single valve is too small and make the less of oil in cushion cavity, or vacuum. So it will appear the piston rod stop or reversal phenomenon due to the cushion plunger piston leaves cylinder gland.

   Removal method: enlarge single valve orifice.

4. Single valve‘s steel balls go after the oil flowing when piston rod works fast, it will block the valve orifice and make irregularly action.

   Removal method: as per relevant content.

5. The internal of rubber strips make the valve orifice blocked and result in irregular action.

Removal method: change rubber.

6. Have some transverse load.
